Imagine a dictionary in a muddle or perhaps with a sense of humor.  Bored with standard words and definitions, the massive tome finds itself confused and befuddled by strange and odd words lost within its depths.  To pass the time, our dictionary begins to create its own colorful definitions and then, since it is supposed to include an example of usage, it slips the word into a sentence.  Still, that’s pretty ho-hum, it thinks. Why not fatten its pages with a longer tale?

Click on the Tales from a Misinformed Dictionary category to the right and read through sample stories.  Look for new posts.  Given enough time (it has plenty of words), our dictionary plans to compile an entire book, maybe two…or even three.
